This combined with decades of research into the science of bowls performance and our unrivalled experience in the design and manufacture of bowls on computer-controlled technology has resulted in our Commonwealth Gold medal winning bowls. In fact, Drakes Pride bowls have won almost all major bowling tournaments worldwide. Shape contributes most to a great performing bowl. We have drawn on our biassing experience, which dates back to 1820, to create the best performing modern day profiles. The profile of your bowls was developed by top ranking players and professors of mathematics, engineering and physics.
Caring for your bowls
After play use a soft cloth to clean your bowls, a Drakes Pride microfibre bowls towel is ideal. Always carry your bowls in a bowls bag designed to hold them securely in place. Ensure there is no grit in the base of your bowls bag which may scratch your bowls. To remove small scratches and bring the shine back to your bowls use Drakes Pride Bowls Sheen, never use an abrasive pad. It should be noted that scratching may be caused by sand or fertilizers on grass or sand filled synthetic surfaces. Chipping can be caused by contact with sharp objects such as stones or gravel in a ditch, concrete ditches and nail heads on ditch walls. Pitting can be caused when wet bowls are impacted after picking up sand or grit. Such damage is considered normal wear and tear and is not covered by the guarantee.

- Each bowl in every new set of Drakes Pride bowls is guaranteed to have the same performance.
- We guarantee the quality of this product for 10 years from the date of purchase. This covers all material or manufacturing defects.
- The guarantee provides for the repair or replacement of the defective bowls/set at the manufacturer’s discretion.
- The performance of all brands of bowl is affected by normal wear and tear. This guarantee does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear or improper use.
- This guarantee is offered to the original purchaser and is not transferable. The limit of liability to Drakes Pride is to the repair and replacement of the product. The above is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights.
- In the unlikely event that your bowls appear to have a material or manufacturing defect the whole set should be returned to the place of purchase with proof of purchase.
We recommend that you register the ownership of your new bowls below as this may be helpful should the company you purchased them from cease trading. This should be done within one month of purchase.
